Last night was tough, this morning was tear jerking, and this afternoon is a relief. Let me explain..... Last night I went to bed coughing and coughing until I just could not take it any more so I did what I also do when I don't feel good, I got in the tub. While in the tub I noticed that my breathing was deep in my chest just like when I had pneumonia. After the bath I crawled back into to bed to cough the night away. Adam and I both tossed and turned as I keep coughing. Then I realized that my little guy was no longer moving like he usually does. Finally the alarm went off and I was glad to jump out of bed and stop messing around with sleeping. It was off to work and off to a normal day, only I still did not feel the little guy moving around. Well I got to work and went on with my day when the thought came to mind that I still had not felt him move. I called my doctor and explained the situation and my past experiences with pneumonia. I was hoping for a simple solution of take this safe medicine and see what happens when instead they said get in to the office immediately. While driving to the hospital I broke out in tears scared and worried because my little guy still had not made a movement that I could feel. This was out of the usual because he has been a mover and a shaker since December 18th. I have felt him move all the time from that day on. Well I got to the hospital and they took me and put me on monitors and started running tests. It took a while to find the heart rate. I was so glad when they found it and then I saw him on the ultrasound machine and he was just sleeping away so they put a noise machine on me which wakes him up. Once the noise started he was up and moving which was good cause he passed all the stress tests and had a spiking heart rate. Then I was off to the doctors to check on my lungs and sinuses. That worked out good also because I was told that I have a sinus infection and that I am completely plugged up on the left side but no fluid in the lungs. By the time I was finished with all the tests I was so exhausted I went home to bed. I was told to slow down and get more rest to fight off my sinus cold.

I'm glad that you and the baby are okay. Please take it easy and just rest! Cherish these moments of being able to rest, they won't last long after the baby comes!
