Our Home

May 2006 Adam and I purchased our first home in Lehi Utah.  It all started when I took a detour late one night and ending up driving around Traverse Mountain.  It was magical how the snow was beginning to fall and I saw two deer prancing around in front yards.  At that moment I decided to write down all the phone numbers on the for sale signs.  I called all the numbers, got the specs and weighted out the pros and cons on the price and size of each house.  After that we decided to go view one of the homes.  It was the home that I felt was the best deal for what you got.  That was the only house we viewed and the house we bought.

Our Lehi Home

While living on Traverse Mountain I was able to reacquaint myself with a good friend Kristin.  She became a friend for life.  While living there we made some great friends and took on some great projects.  We put curbing in the back yard, had some Mexicans install a trex deck in less than 4 fours, finished the basement, painted some walls, and my parents installed some cupboards in the laundry room.  Our darling rambler on Pebble Creek Lane was the home that we brought Mack home from the hospital.

Then September 2009 we made a plunge and moved into a new home in Bluffdale.  The hunt for this house started back in 2007 when I got my real estate license.  Unlike the first house we looked and looked all over the valley.  I carefully watched the market and homes searching for the next destination.  Adam and I quickly learned with our first home that we needed a bigger garage and yard.  Also in that two years of searching I came to realize that I love front porches, covered decks, open family room the lead into kitchen and lot of natural light.  I also learned that I wanted a house that was unlike other homes in a neighborhood.  I love character and uniqueness.  Then one Saturday afternoon in July we discovered "our house".  The moment Adam and I walked through the house it felt different than any other home we had viewed.  We both got excited as we discovered more and more things that we loved about the house.  I just could not get my mind off how darling the front door was.  Then two months later the rest is history and we moved into our home.
