About two weeks ago a neighbor named Amy Pierson showed up at my door with a invited that went like this...
A spell has been cast
And cackles are hearty,
You've been invited to a
Witches Brew Tea Party
Now everyone who knows me know that I love, love, love Halloween so I was all about a Witches Brew Tea Party. I made sure Adam was home in time to tend Mack and I got all dressed up. I was excited but little did I know what I was about to go to. I knocked on the door and then peeked in to see a bunch of witch hats, strip tights, broomsticks, and smiles. I opened the door and walk into something that you would see on television, or as an advertisement for Pottery Barn, or a party that Oprah would host. It was over the top and my jaw hit the floor as I tried to soak it all in. There were over 40 women, we had a four-course meal, fine china to eat one, games, gifts, contests, and every detail possible was covered. The table setting were to die for with pumpkin bowls, gold utensils, and darling dishes. We all had nametags so we ate by people we did not know and no one felt left out; the menu was fitting for the evening (alien fingers, vampire guts, etc.. it might sound gross but it was amazing food). We played a group game where we had to take a picture in the woods (trees behind all the houses are woodsy), on a tramp, and with pumpkins and Halloween decorations. Then we came back to the house exchanged gifts (we had to bring a gift) and watched a slide show of the pictures we took. Then to top if off we all got a darling decoration plaque, and a custom, individual witch cake to take home and enjoy. SERIOUSLY it was like a dream! I loved every minute and I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale. It was a witch’s fairytale and wicked night to remember.

What a FUN party! You have such super cute friends, but of course you do since you are super cute yourself! ;)
Camron, I got a lot of laughs while catching up on your blog. Particularly the comment on the mexicans building the deck and the old lady that said Mack has hair like Jesus. Was she color blind? Fun cake, cute pictures of Mack. It made me sad to see your old house! You need to teach me some of your sewing tricks! You complain about not cooking well, but you can sew really well!
I do not check this often enough. I love all the pics of Mack with his crazy hair! I hope he'll be there next Saturday so I can see him again.
