Happy and not full of Hatred
On Saturday Adam and I traveled down south for the big game that people through out the state of Utah call the HOLY WAR. I was so excited and fired up to go to the big game. We decided to park at University Mall and take the shuttle over to the stadium. Once I step foot on the shuttle dressed in red the sarcasm and harassment started. The sad fact was that the comments were coming from old men twice my age. It was pathetic but I did not hate the cougar fans and their stupid digs. I just ignored them for the most part until finally toward the end of the ride when I asked the driver if I need a ticket to get back on, one man commented, "you can't get back on, your dressed in red". I instantly thought in my mind...oh please can you come up with anything better. I turned around and replied, "please be nice". He looked shocked and said, "I'm sorry". Shocked is how I felt time and time again that night. I was shocked on the horrible calls the referees made, shocked at how horrible the hot chocolate was, shocked that the Utes did not score more, shocked that I knew the BYU fight song, and shocked that in overtime at the last moment going for the pic did not pay off and a Cougar was left alone to score. But most of all the shocking news was the un-sportsmanship and hatred Max Hall displayed against my Utah Utes in post-game interviews. His hatred ruined the win for his team and sparked even more bitterness between the Holy War. It's just a football game Hall and we need to learn to not hate others! Still Happy and not full of Hatred

Cam, I love ya.
The hypocrisy down there runs so deep I can't even stand it.
Nice post girl! I am totally with you. It is just a game. No need to be mean and show so much hate! Looks like you guys had fun though! :-)
Cam I'm sorry you were harrassed! I'm sure the Utah fans would have treated the cougar fans very christlike! Anyway, I love the picture of Mack as santa! That is the cutest picture ever!
