Coming Soon & Flashback Moment

Coming Soon
February is almost over, so yesterday I pulled out the green clothes, camera and props for Mack's March photo shoot.  My baby is also 9 months old.  He turned 9 months on the 25th (Thursday).  Wow time has passed quickly.  He has almost been out of me for as long as he was in me.
Flashback Moment
I can still remember how on December 18th, 2008 I felt him move for the first time.  It was after 8:00 p.m. and I was lying in bed watching television.  Adam was in the front room watching television also.  I was probably watching some HGTV show and Adam was probably watching football.  That detail I am not a 100% certain on.  Anyway… I was lying in bed when I felt a flutter in my stomach that was more than just gas.  I immediately smiled with joy as I rubbed my stomach where I felt the movement.  It was early in the pregnancy to feel him move, but now looking back and knowing his personality, it does not surprise me.  My Mack is a mover and full of energy.  Shortly after I felt him move I told Adam and then I called my Grandma Uleda Nielson and told her.  She is one special lady to me.  I took her with me to all my ultrasound visits except for the two out of five of them.  The two she missed were not planned, or she would have been with me.  One of them I did not know was going to happened cause it was our first visit with Dr. Gravelle and the second time was when I was worried the baby had not moved.  My doctor told me to leave work and get to the hospital to make sure everything was ok.  Everything turned out fine.  Grandma Nielson was with Adam and I the day we found out the sex.  My Grandma and my Mom were at the Granite School District Career Fair when over a hundred students watched my Mack on the ultrasound screen.  Grandma Nielson was with Adam and I when I lost the first ultrasound DVD and so we had to go to Fetal Photo and capture it again.  She came to more appointments and visits than most Grandmas’ do.  I am so lucky and happy to have her as my Grandma.
