Baby Brother

It is the cutest thing ever!!!  Lately Mack has all the sudden interested in my belly and talks about his baby brother coming all the time.  For the past week he as approached me daily throughout the day and rubbed my belly and said, "hello baby brother".  It melts my heart every time.  He also asks my belly, "hello baby brother, when are you coming?"  I just can't get enough about how interested and excited he is about this baby brother that is on his way.  During the pregnancy when I would mention or ask him about getting a baby or a baby brother he would ignore me and want nothing to do with it.  It was like he did not want to face it and acted like he could not hear me.  Then all the sudden he is interested and not just occasionally it is becoming an all the time conversation.  Today on the ride home from my Grandma Nielson's house (aka Gaumie) Mack asked me to sit in the back next to him.  His exact worlds are "sit by you".  So I was in the back with Mack and Adam was the driver in front.  Adam and I were chatting along and Mack piped up, "Mommy let me see baby brother" and he rubbed my belly with his hand.  I told him that he had to stay in my belly for a little bit longer before we get to see and hold him.  Mack looked confused and replied, "oh".  I also asked Mack this week what he wanted for Christmas and he replied, "baby brother and horseees".  I just love my lil Mack's personality and joy he brings into my life.  I can't get enough of being around him and watching him play and discover new things.  I know that he is going to be a great big brother and love his baby brother.  I am so grateful for my boys and to be a mom.
Here are some random photos of Mack!

What a sweet post Cam! I love the pic of him asleep in his carseat. Tell your Grandma Nielsen I say hello - I'm sure she's still sharp as a tack!
